Swaddling DD was the only way to soothe her, and with a screaming, wiggling baby swaddling her was impossible, so i found the pink gingham blanket online and bought it hoping it might help.. BOY did it ever! It was a life saver..when i recieved it i wrapped my little audrey in it and she was quiet for the first time in almost a week. Im so thankful for the blanket, i just had to have another for my 3rd baby, due in november. We are expats in Thailand, so the choice of blanket was very important due to the cost of sending it here. I was fortunate enough to have a friend who tried every blanket out there and swore by the Miracle Blanket, so I knew I was getting the best blanket possible. And boy was she right! Our daughter slept through the night at 7 weeks using her Miracle Blanket, and we use it also for naps. My 1st son (who is now almost 4 years old) woke every 1-2 hours through out the night until he was at least 10 mths old. My friend told me about this miracle blanket. She was so desperate for sleep since she was raising 2 kids on her own while her husband was in Iraq. He left when the youngest was 1 mth old. When the baby was 2 mths old she was desperately searching the internet in the middle of the night for a blanket to help keep her child asleep since she noticed her baby would wake herself up every time she broke free of the receiving blanket. The Miracle Blanket was to her really a "miracle blanket." She shared this website with myself & another friend who had a premature baby before my baby was due. This friend was prepared & had already bought the Miracle Blanket. Both babies were sleeping through the night, thanks to the Miracle Blanket. Now on to my experience. I bought 2 blankets (although now, I wish I had 3, since my son is always spitting up on them and one is always in the wash!) I have been using the Miracle Blanket since he was 2 days old. Since turning 3 weeks, he has been sleeping through the night, and when I say through the night I mean more than 8 hours!!! I actually feel like a normal human being able to get the much needed, uninterrupted sleep I need to be a stay at home mom to two young boys for the most part but also a flight attendant. I truly believe good sleep begets more good sleep. He takes great naps though out the day. I also think he is a much happier baby as well with solid sleep patterns. I never leave home without my nursing pillow...and the Miracle Blanket. It's so soft and my husband and I have perfected the swaddle. We joke that there should be some sort of swaddle competition!! (I'd completely forgotten that I had received one as a gift or I would have used it MUCH sooner!) My son had been sleeping for 2-3 hours at the most, until I used the Miracle Blanket. The combination of your blanket and the book "Happiest baby on the block" I kept my sanity through his next 5 weeks. Now I buy your blanket and the previously mentioned book for every shower I go to, because I didn't know about them until my son was 7 weeks old and wished I had them earlier. I bought other swadling blankets at target and babies r us and they worked a little bit, but my son would make it a mission when I put him to sleep, to get his arms free. So the arm flaps on your blanket were a life saver.

I went so far as to call a few researchers in infant sleep and promote the blanket to several universities. My daughter also has sensory integration difficulties, so the blanket was especially necessary to help her sleep soundly. Now (fully weaned) at 16 months old, she is an OUTSTANDING self-sleeper, who never cries, is very comfortable in her bed, and who is a well-rested, happy kiddo. I believe that starting with the safety and security of the Miracle Blanket, and continuing with a very child-centered weaning process has really helped our daughter to become a great, comfortable sleeper. He was only sleeping 1 - 1 1/2 hour intervals at night and I was going crazy. He's my 4th baby and I needed sleep! I bought this blanket as a "last ditch effort" and I'm so glad I did.
