We used the miracle blanket on our third baby, and she did very well with it. I just got back from doing a postpartum visit with a mom and dad who had their baby last Friday. They bought 2 Miracle Blankets. I had told them at the prenatal that other than the carseat, it would be the best thing they ever bought. Sure enough! I had left them with one at the hospital, and then they bought another today. The one question I always get....."Do they make them for adults?" LOL

I ordered a Miracle Blanket from the internet because I just couldn't seem to get the swaddling done well enough to last through the night. [My son] was always wiggling out and waking himself up. This blanket has truly been a miracle. After getting this blanket, he began to sleep for 4-6 hours at a time through the night. I just love it.

 

I strongly feel that the Miracle Blanket needs to be marketed to expectant parents everywhere so that the blanket could be used right from the start. The swaddled infant who sleeps better in the first several months will be on an easier path to good, long sleep after that and the Miracle Blanket helps in that respect. You should somehow make the Miracle Blanket available to be purchased in post-partum units of hospitals - maybe make post-partum nurses familiar with them through their professional organizations? They are always trying to teach new parents how to swaddle an infant, so this seems like a natural place for your blanket. And the Miracle Blanket should be on every new mom's registry list!

By the list of the testimonials on the web site, I would say business is doing well. Let me offer another one:
I can tell you that the staff have been very satisfied with the blanket. In fact, I had a new teacher who wasn't around when I first got the blankets and the other teachers forgot where they came from and she was asking about them. She was so excited that an 8 month baby who had never been able to sleep in a crib before is now doing so with the blanket. Before she started at our program, she was sleeping in her car seat, which is not safe. A mother of another infant was also excited that her baby was able to sleep so soundly with all the noise that an infant room in a day care center can make. The vote is out and everyone is very satisfied.
I would also like to thank you for your generosity in providing us with these blankets. They are holding up well with multiple washings. I only put out a few in the classrooms at a time and I have yet to replace those first few blankets. I can tell you that I am looking at having a baby sometime soon in the future and I will definitely be looking you up for blankets when the time comes.

First of all no reply is necessary. I work in an NICU (Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit) and I think you have come up with a developmentally correct item. I applaud you for your creative design. It's similar to what we use as "Snugglies" but yours has the arm containment incorporated into your product, Kudos to you!!!

Let me begin by saying thank you! I had my third baby, Luke, almost 3 months ago and he has been the most difficult of our three children. He was very gassy with acid reflux and would not sleep for more than an hour at a time. It seemed like nothing would comfort him. We gave him Zantac and Simethacone for gas around the clock! We are all so excited about this blanket! It's the first thing we recommend to all our new moms. We get a blanket to them before they even go into the hospital. We suggest swaddling from the moment a baby is born and we have the parents swaddling with the Miracle Blanket in the hospital before they come home. Each time I do a postpartum visit with one of my clients, I show them a miracle blanket and explain how it can be of immense help to their baby AND them. Since I do postpartum visits between week one and two after the birth, the parents at this point are almost always more than interested to discover something to help aid the baby's and their sleep.
Only once did I have a client give me back the sample blanket. They didn't think it was effective. I happily took it back and told them I was sorry that it did not seem to work. Well, guess what? Within a week, they called and said they definitely wanted it back! They hadn't given it enough time to determine whether or not it would work. Once they did, they knew they had to have it.

While doing a postpartum visit one week after the birth of another couple's baby, I observed her crying non-stop. She apparently had a period during each evening where she was just inconsolable. I always carry a sample Miracle Blanket with me, so I suggested we give it a try. We wrapped her up, started "Shhhhhhhing her" and within a couple of minutes or less, she stopped crying and fell immediately to sleep! The parents gave me the biggest, albeit tired, smiles and thanked me profusely for turning them on to this blanket.
I never go to my client visits without a miracle blanket with me, so the parents can try one out, for free, for a few days prior to making the decision to buy one or not. It has never failed and not once have I gotten an unsatisfied client.
